RSGH Chat+ — Privacy Policy

RSGH Chat+ is a private, organization‑only group alert and chat app. It is not a replacement for emergency services. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use the RSGH Chat+ mobile application and related services (“Services”).

2. Data We Collect

• Account & Profile: name, organization email, optional phone, department/property/role (set by your organization).
• Device & App Data: device identifiers (e.g., Firebase Installation ID), FCM token, OS/app version, language/locale.
• Content You Create: messages, reactions, attachments, group names and membership.
• Crash & Diagnostics: crash logs and performance metrics.
• Support: support requests and correspondence.

3. How We Use Data

• Provide and secure core functionality (accounts, auth, group messaging, push alerts).
• Deliver critical alerts to your groups.
• Prevent abuse and ensure reliability (rate limits, fraud/security).
• Improve performance and troubleshoot (crash/diagnostics).
• Comply with law and enforce our Terms.

4. Legal Bases

Where applicable: performance of a contract (to provide the Services), legitimate interests (security, service improvement), and consent (if you opt into optional diagnostics).

5. Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share limited data with:

• Service providers acting on our behalf (e.g., hosting, authentication, messaging, error logging) under data processing agreements (e.g., Firebase Auth/Firestore/Storage/Cloud Messaging/Crashlytics).
• Your organization administrators who manage users, groups, and retention policies.
• Authorities when required by law.

6. International Transfers

Data may be processed in other countries; we implement appropriate safeguards where required.

7. Retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above or as required by law/your organization’s policy. Message content and attachments may be retained or deleted according to admin settings. Crash logs are retained temporarily for troubleshooting.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards (TLS in transit, role-based access, least privilege). No method is 100% secure.

9. Your Choices & Rights

• Permissions: This app requests Notifications only. You can manage notification settings in the app or device settings.
• Account deletion: See the Account & Data Deletion page to request deletion of your account, or email kamleshluchman0@gmail.com.
• Access/Correction: Contact us or your organization administrator.

10. Children

Not directed to children. Users must meet the minimum age required by local law and organization policy.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated in‑app or by email.
